White Oak Boer Goats

ABGA Registered Show Quality and Breedstock

About Us and our Goals

Our goals for our breeding program is to produce nicely structured, parasite resistant, meaty boer goats with competitive bloodlines for breedstock and show . Breeding boers is a hobby of ours and we really dont have time to show but a few shows per year. We don't focus on showing, but like our animals to be something that we are, and the owners are, proud to see in the ring. Not all of our goats will be show quality as with any breeder, but we will strive to get as close as possible. Everything we use is natural and we do NOT  "pump " our goats for an edge in the show ring. They get grass, hay, a lick, and a 12% medicated pellet feed.

We breed for traditional and paint boers . Trax has thrown 66% color so far consisting of solid reds and paints . His kids are muscled beautifully  and are VERY wide ,stocky and correct, and it is showing in the ring!! One of his sons already has 20 ABGA points at 3 months old and his wethers are winning big! -. RW1 313's first crop of kids are looking great also- we are hoping to get some nice show prospects from him. Wildman is being used for my percentage stock for show quality kids. Wildman is producing awesome marked paints and solid reds!!!

Our focus on structure consists of good teat structure on bucks and does,(single or 2 fuctional teats per side) long level backs, good muscling throughout, good depth, width, good bone, strong sturdy legs and a nice roman head-or in other words Boer Goat Standards. we will, however, make exceptions on teat structure and correct color on our  broodstock does.

Our does are selected for their productivity along with mothering ability.  We are very strict with our guidelines on boers and are breeding for the hardiness that the boer breed started out with.  Most of the does that we have now were purchased with kids or pregnant, and are great producers with very little help from us delivering or bottle feeding .We take a strong stand behind our boer goats and their health-a healthy goat is a happy goat!

We also have percentage does, bucks and wethers available for 4-H, commercial and shows . We strive for the same characteristics for these goats as we do for our fullblood goats.
